We worked to figure out a comfortable and authentic visual Identity for Bella Rose. Something sustainable, original, but still felt as playful and theatrical as her personality is. The trick is to lean into the Artists existing character traits.
Bella's EP cover 'Little Miss Understood'"
Little Miss Understood (EP)
The EP cover had to feel large, theatrical, confident and playful. We wanted to keep the same style of illustration from the previous single covers, but make them feel more cohesive and part of a larger collection with the most iconic one being the EP cover, so that it thematically and visually ties it all together.
Getting to know her and understanding her personality, we built the campaign around her theatrical and vibrant personality. We quite literally leant into the theatre energy by hiring a theatre and building a stage for it, highlighting green as the main colour for her branding and pink the secondary, complimentary colour, so to still sit in a familiar, but less predictable space for branding.

To make sure her budget was able to be stretched, we also suggested a more cost-effective approach to the music videos, by using a more simple approach to the music videos. By doing this, Bella was able to get four music videos over two very long days at the same location through back to back shoots. It helped solidify and reinforce her visual identity while getting the most amount of content out of it, and excusing the repetition of its aesthetic by justifying it through an EP collection. This made it more of a creative decision than a budget driven one.

The single artwork shows Bella at the end of her destructive behaviour, shown in the reflection with her veil covered in lipstick, and the title for her Debut Single of the EP written on the mirror. A striking and iconic cover that reinforces the title aggressively.

Escape Artist (Single)
The single artwork features Bella in a more vulnerable and intimate pose laying ontop of the stacked mattresses as seen in the music video. It has a much more peaceful and less chaotic visual than the other Singles, reflecting the song's sound and feel.

Superficial Bitch (Single)
The single artwork shows Bella's leg slide through the gap in the curtains with a provocative and playful pose that references the 'taxi call' action of women in the late 90's. It's as if she's presenting herself as a 'superficial item' as she states that she's a 'superficial bitch.'

The single artwork displays a simple, yet striking visual of a chessboard with lipsticks behaving as chess pieces. It's pulled from the concept of the music video which leans into feeling like you're playing your alter-ego in a game of decision making.

We had a lot of fun leaning into Bella's theatrical and vibrant personality, and we're proud of the work we did with her. It was an ambitious project, on a low budget, achieved in just two days. It was also important to use that she had more diverse content, so we insisted on a press shoot for her that would be less character driven and more authentic to her personality as an artist, and a clean shot of her that kept the colour consistency of her new branding that we had established, but is mulipurposeful for promotional purposes for future projects.
I barely had to do any preparation myself—they took care of most of it, which really took the stress out of the process.
"Now, leading up to my EP release, they're working behind the scenes, sending it to Spotify playlisters and handling the promotion. I get to focus on the creative side and keep making music while my socials grow. It's amazing, I truly feel like I have an incredible team behind me.
